How to run your website on your local PC?

You can try this---> WAMP. Just download from the link based on your OS version. :)

This is the fastest way to setup your website on your local PC. Just install it, then put your CMS folder that you download into the "www" directory that automatically created (usually c:\wamp\www) and open your internet browser, go to the URL : http://localhost . Click on the folder name that you put into the "www" directory and run your index.php/index.html to get started. 

How to make sure your WAMP server is running on your PC?

The WAMP server icon will show on your taskbar. If it's not, then just go to your WAMP folder and double click on  "wampmanager.exe" . If WAMP server is running, the icon show on your taskbar is in green color. Open your internet browser, go to the URL : http://localhost , it should got a list of "Index of /". (p/s: Make sure you restart the services if you make any changes of the website folder)

I prefer WAMP because it already done all the configuration of Apache2, PHP and MySQL . It also included PhpMyAdmin for you to setup your own database. You no need to worry about the configuration. I try to setup Apache, PHP and MySQL manually before and it take a lot of time for the configuration. Need to study a lot the step by step to get the configuration done. Why don't just use server tools to get it done? The most important thing is the result and the purpose is the SAME which I want to run my website on my local PC. Hope you enjoy with it... :)

Are you willing to pay for it? Are you trust them? How long actually it can be launch? Are you willing to tell your own idea to them? What happen in future for your website? What will happen if the website got bugs or you want to enhance it?  This is the common question and problem when we think of hire programmer to help you. (This can be solve if you find the long term programmer or company to help you, what you need to do is just pay $$$)

How about learn programming and launch it yourself? 

I can say more than 70% people who want to use this method fail to do that.  You need to learn coding. Normally people will give up because of the "Alien" code. Even programmer (me) also fail to do that because I am lazy. :p Write a website really takes time. 

So, HOW to build your own website?

I would like to share my experience on HOW to do that and hope you will like it. (p/s: All this is just my personal experience) :)

You can use Google Sites to create your own website for free. What you need to do is have your own Gmail account to get started. But what I know is that all the Google sites that you created will not be found in Google Search. 

I also try using Weebly to create free website. It is very user friendly and you can try it. The only thing that I don't like is that you need to pay $$$ if you want to add special features. If you just want to share your own content with simple sites, I recommend you just create your own blog using Blogspot, Wordpress, or any other free blog sites which is convenient and user friendly.

HOW to create FREE website with a lot of features, easy enhancement, user friendly and flexible by your own? 

I using CMS to get started. It is more technical way to create website but a lot of advantages If you want to try CMS to create your own website. Just click on the link and choose the website category that you want. I will always sort by the user rating (best to worst) and try out the demo. You can play around with the demo to make sure that it contain the features that you want and download it.
